Conversion Experience:

I was born June 6, 1977, into a Hindu family in India. I did not have any knowledge of the living God, Jesus Christ. I grew up in a remote village where all people were addicted to drugs. I worshiped many gods and goddesses. 

One day a missionary came to my village and shared about the living God, Jesus Christ. The life-giving Gospel transformed my life. Realizing my lost condition, I asked Jesus to cleanse me in His precious blood and receive me as His child. When Jesus began to dwell in my heart, I experienced much joy and peace in my life. Also I received water baptism as a public confession of my faith. 

The wonderful leading of the Almighty God urged me to witness Him among my own people. The regular visits to the church and the reading of the Bible helped me grow in the Lord. While praying, the Lord spoke to me very clearly to work for Him full time. Soon I joined a Bible school to study the Word. 

Present Ministry:

I am working mainly among the Hindus of Tripura, India as an evangelist. Church planting work, open-air meetings, tract distribution, house-to-house visitation and home prayer fellowships are the main ministries through which I propagate the Gospel of Jesus among the lost souls. 

Please pray for me and for my family that we may fulfill God’s plan to expand His kingdom.

Greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I extend my deep gratitude to you for your unceasing prayers and financial support toward my ministry that always encourages me to do the ministry effectively. Please continue to remember me in your prayers. I too pray for you. May the dear Lord bless you and give you His grace in abundance.

In the last six months the Lord was so good and faithful to me. He taught me many significant lessons through His Word. He provided for all my needs and answered all my prayers. In the past month, my wife was suffering from some sickness. When I prayed for her, the Lord healed her completely. I thank God for His loving care and protection in my life.

I am serving the Lord as a pastor and evangelist at Dabuk Kami, where the majority of the people are Hindus. These people are very religious in their faith and they worship stones, trees, nature and animals. Most of them are against the Gospel, but some are responding positively toward the Word of God. They are very poor and are depending on cultivation for their livelihood. Many of them are addicted to alcohol and many intoxicants. Please pray that the Lord would touch their hearts, that they may receive Jesus as their personal Savior.

To share the Good News among the people I do tract distribution, personal evangelism and house visitation. For the spiritual growth of the believers, I am involved in organizing Sunday school, fasting and prayer meetings, youth ministry and home-prayer meetings.

One day while doing outreach, I met Jaghu Debbarma who was suffering from some sickness. He underwent many medications and spent a great deal of money, but it was of no use. Due to this his family was very discouraged. During that time, the Lord helped me to share the love of Christ with him and prayed for him. Miraculously, the Lord healed him completely. By experiencing the healing touch of God, the whole family received Jesus as their personal Savior. Now they are attending the church services regularly. Pray that they would grow spiritually.

Many times, I faced oppositions and persecutions from the Hindu fanatics. During outreach at Dabuk, a group of people came around me and threatened me not to enter their villages for sharing the Gospel. But the Lord helped me to overcome all the difficulties and hindrances. 

In the last six months I was able to distribute 7000 Gospel tracts, 48 New Testaments and 24 Bibles. As a result of my ministry, ten people came to the saving knowledge of Christ. Pray that they would remain firm in Christ. Also the Lord enabled me to establish two new mission stations in different villages. Pray that the Lord would turn these mission stations into flourishing churches in the coming days.

¬      Pray for the spiritual nourishment of the new believers.

¬      Pray for the salvation of the people with whom I have shared the Gospel during house visitation.

¬      Pray for the spiritual growth and protection of my family.
